Hi Everyone! Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend :). Please keep being forceful on TPTB! Let them know none of us are giving up until MTS is back taping at Y&R and Nikki Newman is back on our screens! I know there are so many misleading reports now that Nikki is coming back (SOD report from MAB a couple weeks ago plus many soap sites including Nikki in their "down the road spoilers") please don't believe anything unless you hear it from Melody herself! Until then keep fighting & showing TPTB that they don't want to mess with soap fans, especially MTS fans!!! Thanks each and every one of you for everything you do in this fight! We all appreciate it! We have now had 50 episodes without Nikki Newman. This is a complete mess on Y&R's part. How can they not have Melody Thomas Scott & Nikki BACK ON SCREEN?!? We all need to keep fighting and can't give up. We need to get Melody back on screen & back on contract! Sony, CBS & Y&R needs to know they messed with the WRONG FANS! Emmy's & MTS News!

Last night was the Emmy's! I hope everyone enjoyed it. I was glad they had them but it was much more a Las Vegas infomercial again. I know that's what they have to do to be able to afford to air them on tv but I would have loved more soap and less of the rest. lol. The biggest travesty of the night were those camera people! I couldn't believe how many times I saw the back of Mel's head and barely ever her face! COME ON PEOPLE! lol.

Maria Bell won for best writing. Congrats to the Y&R team. In the pressroom Jillian Bowe from Daytime Confidential asked about Melody's status with the show.  This was her response "Melody is a phenomenal actress. Nikki is one of the great core characters of The Young and the Restless, so of course we'll see her again. She’s in a story line right now, we actually have her leaving town for rehab. She'll be back and we love Mel. She’s one of the hearts and souls of The Young and The Restless. So, don’t be worried, she will be back." <check out the article 

This sounds like great news to me but we all need to keep pushing! There is no definite return date and Melody still hasn't received a script. It is important to keep contacting to show Sony that we NEED Melody Thomas Scott back on our screens! Please don't think just because this was said that we can stop campaigning for her! Make sure to keep contacting/writing/emailing/snail mail/ tweeting/posting on facebook, do whatever you can do to help get Nikki Newman back on our screens as soon as possible!! Thanks everyone!
