Hi Everyone! It seems there are SO MANY rumors floating around the web recently regarding MTS & Nikki Newman. I've seen a lot of talk on twitter about these "Nikki's Explosive Return in September" which is on SO many soap sites and on twitter. Obviously MTS has not been taping, she's said that on twitter, so no Nikki won't be returning this month. Then comes the talk that she was recasted and someone else will be playing Nikki. If something like that happened we would have already heard about it. That is false. I don't see them EVER recasting the role of Nikki Newman. Melody made that role her own and no one could fill her shoes. Right now there is even a topic on SOC board asking if people would accept a Nikki recast, on a two page thread not ONE person said they would accept it. I really don't see it happening. We are all getting sick of rumor after rumor on the web. It doesn't make sense why people keep making them up and fueling the fire.

If you are still watching Y&R (which I am not but have seen this online) they edited Melody out of the opener and replaced her with Jess Walton. She was still listed at the end of the show with the contract actors. I'm not sure what they are doing but that should just make us fight harder. They may erase Nikki & Melody from the opener but that doesn't mean we will stop fighting for her or stop remembering her! We all want Nikki back and have to keep up the hard work to fight and get her back. Don't listen to rumors, listen to facts. Believe what Melody herself says on Twitter, not what all these people on the web spew into webs of lies. Keep up the fight! Thanks!

New Week Same Fight!

Hi Everyone! Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend :). Please keep being forceful on TPTB! Let them know none of us are giving up until MTS is back taping at Y&R and Nikki Newman is back on our screens! I know there are so many misleading reports now that Nikki is coming back (SOD report from MAB a couple weeks ago plus many soap sites including Nikki in their "down the road spoilers") please don't believe anything unless you hear it from Melody herself! Until then keep fighting & showing TPTB that they don't want to mess with soap fans, especially MTS fans!!! Thanks each and every one of you for everything you do in this fight! We all appreciate it! Keep up the fight!

We have now had 50 episodes without Nikki Newman. This is a complete mess on Y&R's part. How can they not have Melody Thomas Scott & Nikki BACK ON SCREEN?!? We all need to keep fighting and can't give up. We need to get Melody back on screen & back on contract! Sony, CBS & Y&R needs to know they messed with the WRONG FANS! Emmy's & MTS News!

Last night was the Emmy's! I hope everyone enjoyed it. I was glad they had them but it was much more a Las Vegas infomercial again. I know that's what they have to do to be able to afford to air them on tv but I would have loved more soap and less of the rest. lol. The biggest travesty of the night were those camera people! I couldn't believe how many times I saw the back of Mel's head and barely ever her face! COME ON PEOPLE! lol.

Maria Bell won for best writing. Congrats to the Y&R team. In the pressroom Jillian Bowe from Daytime Confidential asked about Melody's status with the show.  This was her response "Melody is a phenomenal actress. Nikki is one of the great core characters of The Young and the Restless, so of course we'll see her again. She’s in a story line right now, we actually have her leaving town for rehab. She'll be back and we love Mel. She’s one of the hearts and souls of The Young and The Restless. So, don’t be worried, she will be back." <check out the article 

This sounds like great news to me but we all need to keep pushing! There is no definite return date and Melody still hasn't received a script. It is important to keep contacting to show Sony that we NEED Melody Thomas Scott back on our screens! Please don't think just because this was said that we can stop campaigning for her! Make sure to keep contacting/writing/emailing/snail mail/ tweeting/posting on facebook, do whatever you can do to help get Nikki Newman back on our screens as soon as possible!! Thanks everyone!

There were articles in both SID & SOD this week discussing the situation. No word that Melody is officially out so lets keep pushing!! SID even said about Mel's situation if Y&R could work it out with her "If Scott's fans on twitter have anything to say about it, they'd better!"  I am so happy this is getting magazine attention. Hopefully people who aren't online will see what's going on and can start contacting too!! Let's all keep up the good work!  "At the risk of repeating myself, it makes absolutely no sense for Y&R to write out the soap’s biggest female star ever, Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki), claiming budget woes, while bringing on Genie Francis, who no doubt costs a pretty penny herself, only to have Francis wreck her daytime legacy with this laughable, over-the-top story."
